At GBC, we invite you to experience the power and hope of Easter as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Join us for a meaningful and inspiring Easter weekend filled with worship, reflection, and fellowship.
Maundy Thursday
Join us on Maundy Thursday as we gather to remember the night when Jesus was betrayed.
A simple communion service, reflecting on those intense last moments.
Following the service, we will be gathering for a fellowship meal, enjoying the food the way Jesus and his disciples did.
Good Friday
We're gathering for a simple service together, to reflect one of the most significant days of all history, the day when Jesus takes the cross, and pays the price, once and for all... that includes you and us.
The service will include times of reflection, worship, and silence to remember.
Easter Cafe
Join us on on Saturday April 4th at the Backroom Cafe for delicious drinks, cakes and opportunity to make some fantastic Easter crafts. All ages welcome to come and take part.
Easter Sunday
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with us on Easter Sunday! Our Easter Sunday celebration will feature uplifting music, a message of hope, and a time of joyful worship as we proclaim the victory of Christ over sin and death.
The baptistry will be open, and we will be celebrating with several people who will be getting ‘dunked.’ Not been baptised? Get in touch to find out more.
What time is the Good Friday service?
Our Good Friday service is at 10AM on Friday. There is no formal childcare, kids or youth groups during this service.
What time is the Easter service?
Our Hymnal Praise service is on Sunday at 9:30 am.
Our Family Easter service is on Sunday at 10:45 am.
Bring your entire family and a friend as well.
This is an all-age service, so all are welcome.
Where do I park?
We have a VERY small car park, but there is plenty of street parking. We are also very blessed to have access to the Eco-Hub carpark, where you can also park, free of charge every Sunday.
What should I wear?
Come exactly as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone.
Is your church accessible?
While we are an old, Grade II listed building, with many limitations, we aim to be as accessible as possible, including ramps for wheelchairs and prams. If you have any specific needs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and let us know. We will be as accomadating as we can be.
Can I watch services online if I can’t attend in person?
Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always watch it live or watch it back here on our YouTube channel.
